Arianna Fleur Alfreds has degrees in psychology and visual arts, as well as training in art education and psychotherapy from New York and Vienna – her two “homes” over the last two decades. Her work has spanned the fields of music, art, social work, writing, education and activism. Her past endeavors include directing and managing the concert program of Vienna’s off-space, “Rauchsalon” a meeting place for live experimentation and artistic exchange, as well as co-curating and -managing the traveling Viennese concert and festival series, “Open Loose”. In 2015 headed home as “Head of Music, Film & Performance at the Austrian Cultural Forum New York”. Soon after her return to Austria a few years later, she joined the mica – music austria and Austrian Music Export teams, where she has been since 2021 with the roles of Editor, PR and Diversity Management.
