İpek Hamzaoğlu (she/her) is an artist, filmmaker, cultural worker, educator, freelance cameraperson, and film editor. In 2021 she co-edited “Despite Dispossession: An Activity Book” published by K.Verlag, Berlin. Her work revolves around the representation of collective melancholy and the potential of post-apocalyptic future narratives, community knowledge, and gossip. She has been part of numerous queer feminist projects on archive politics, friendship, and collective knowledge. Her works have been shown recently in Kunsthalle Bern (2023), Mardin Biennial (2022), mumok kino (2022), Pera Museum (2021) and Belvedere21 (2021).
